One reason many families choose to utilize the services of adult medical day care is that it’s considerably less expensive than full-time nursing care and in-home care.

The daily rate of adult day healthcare is much lower than the daily cost for homemaker services ($150), home health aides ($160), assisted living ($180), or nursing home care, which ranges from $260 for a semi-private room to $350 for a private room.
