2025 Lunar New Year and Worldshine 10th Anniversary Celebration

As the Lunar New Year arrived, our centers were filled with festive spirit, warmth, and togetherness. This celebration was not just a cultural event—it was a chance to look back on ten years of growth, care, and hard work. Our beloved members, staff, and special guests gathered to celebrate this milestone, sharing in the joy of tradition and community.

Before the event started, a heartfelt video showed the progress our centers have made over the past decade. Many members were moved as they saw how much things had changed. We also shared a video of our team sending New Year wishes, which was a touching moment for everyone.

Worldshine President Qili, Li joined the celebration, greeting each member with warmth and kindness. He took time to chat, take pictures, and enjoy the moment with everyone. In his speech, he thanked our members for their trust, support, and friendship over the years. He reflected on the center’s growth and shared his hopes for the future, promising that we would continue to provide care and support to every member.

The celebration at our Gaithersburg center included many fun performances that showed off the talents and spirit of our center. There were dances, choral songs, poetry readings, and music performances that brought energy to the stage. A lively folk dance kicked things off, followed by a men’s choir singing songs that moved everyone. The women’s choir and music groups created a warm atmosphere, while solo dance and singing performances added a personal touch. A classical trio performance by talented musicians wrapped up the celebration, leading into a heartfelt closing act with sign language dance and a choir performance that symbolized unity and joy.

At the Beltsville center, the celebration was filled with vibrant cultural performances. A Vietnamese dance performance added a unique touch, and the audience loved it. There were also martial arts demonstrations, traditional music, and choir performances that celebrated different cultural traditions.

At the Frederick center, the celebration was filled with interactive fun. Members enjoyed calligraphy writing and traditional riddle games. Everyone had a great time, and those who guessed the riddles right received small prizes. Then, a big New Year’s dinner brought everyone together to enjoy delicious food and share well-wishes for the year ahead. Each member also received a red envelope, a symbol of good luck. The event continued with a beautiful fan dance, and some members even got on stage to play the harmonica and sing songs, making the atmosphere lively and fun.

This celebration wasn’t just about the event itself—it was about coming together as one big family, enjoying each other’s company, and celebrating the traditions that bring us all together. Every performance, meal, and laugh made the day special, and it’s a memory we will all cherish. As we move into the new year, we are committed to continuing to provide care and joy for every member.

Here’s to many more years of warmth, growth, and happiness together!
